Description:
currently seeks a Business Analyst with EDI / Retail Supply Chain Experience to join our team in Framingham, MA.
Qualifications:
The Electronic Software Download project is aimed to on-board online software vendors to deliver software products to the Client's customers.
This position will analyze on-boarding documents and procedures provided by different software vendors and interact with internal teams to create a strategy to merge the Client's systems with the vendor's system for smooth downloads of software.
The skills this consultant must possess should include the list below, but are not limited to the following:
* Have a good understanding of Retail Supply Chain procedures
* Have conceptual knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture and EDI data-mapping.
This knowledge will be used to facilitate technology discussions between the Client's on-boarding team and vendor's technology teams to create technology solution for ESD (Electronic Software Download) projects.
* Be a team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
* Demonstrate strong written & verbal communication skills.
* Analyze complex processes, data sets and business rules and organize them in a management-quality presentation format.
* Provide in-depth consulting to the business owners in the identification of information flow and resolution of data issues.
* Take conceptual ideas and convert them into work flow, process diagrams and data model design.
* Provide recommendations for future enhancements.
* Work in parallel tracks, and interact with multiple teams, under strict project timelines.
