Job Description:
3S is Storage, Social, Share (aka Digital Locker). Users can upload, download, and manage online content such as photos, videos and music. Users can also share with others via social networking sites and email. The focus of this job is the middleware services that support the UI applications.
The Senior J2EE Developer will design and deliver middleware for an RIA web application. Will work in a team environment with developers to develop web services using Java in a Weblogic server. Will utilize a custom framework and detailed requirements to code applications to corporate standards. This is a programming position which will include architecture and design. The Sr. J2EE Developer will need to communicate and coordinate with team members (local and remote).
Candidate will need to have the proven ability to design, develop and implement high-quality code in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of Object-Oriented techniques, design patterns, and development approaches including Test-Driven Development and Continuous Integration. A minimum of 5 years experience in Java is required. Must have minimum 8 years experience developing complex, enterprise-level -- preferably interfacing with Rich Internet Applications.
