Job Tittle: Citrix Support

Duration: 3 Months

Location: Irving TX 31232

Job Description: 


- Manage Citrix application builds, release cycles and test schedules will be primary duties of this role.
-  Document configurations and procedures that will be transitioned to the help desk and desktop support teams
-  Test performance and conflict management of applications sharing the systems.
-  Assist with Scripting, Software Packaging and Research
-  assist technical staff in the implementation of WSH, WMI and VBS scripts used in software distribution and PC maintenance across the company
-  assist with the packaging of internally developed and third party supplied software using MSI technology in the Wise Package Studio environment
Job Qualifications
-  Experience deploying and supporting large scale Citrix environments and experience with multiple Citrix Farms with MetaFrame Xpe.
-  Must have a solid foundation in Citrix XP from initial requirements gathering, testing, documentation and installation through all troubleshooting aspects
-  Experience with Citrix Datastore management, and supporting 16 and 32 bit applications in a Citrix environment.
-  Good working knowledge of Citrix printing, ICA Client management and deployment experience
-  Ability to work independently without intensive oversight
-  Initiative and ability to research problems independently
-  Strong oral and written communication skills
-  Emphasis on sharing of knowledge through good communications and written documentation
-  Strong inter-personal skills
-  Positive customer service attitude
-  Focused on quality
-  Organized
-  Committed to continual improvement
Technical Proficiencies
Required:
-  Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA) or equivalent experience
-  VMWARE Knowledge
-  Strong Background in the following areas:
-  Windows 2003 server
-  W2K/XP Desktop
-  VBScript
-  Image build experience using Ghost or similar technology
-  MS SQL
-  Wise Package Studio
-  WMI
-  SMS
-  Technical problem-solving ability
-  Advanced Networking concepts (TCP/IP, Routing, Firewalls, Network Security)
