 Amzur Technologies, a Tampa, FL based custom software development and IT staffing firm, seeks a seasoned Lead Software Application/Product Support Specialist for a direct hire position based in Tampa.

Our client is a leading provider of financial technology and integrated services for the administration of consumer healthcare accounts. They simplify the administration of consumer-driven healthcare for HR outsourcers, benefits administrators, financial institutions and health plans to achieve better management of HSA, HRA, FSA and other accounts. The incumbent will play a vital role in supporting customers in the area of benefits administration, health plans and financial institutions.

Functional/Business Experience: The ideal candidate will have solid, quantifiable claims processing, payroll, ACH, employee benefits, and disbursement experience.

Technical Requirements:

• Must have hands-on SQL experience to be able to gather and verify data in Oracle DB
• Solid experience in an Oracle environment (to include 10g and 11g)
• Experience working with various data formats, data analysis and understanding of relational database tables is a must
• Experience working closely with development/technical teams is required
• Must have experience working in software/business applications that run via web/Internet
• Experience interacting with web applications that are developed in Java platform is a plus

Other Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Maintain a mindset of continuous improvement through support practices and customer satisfaction
• Manage support metrics and goals, define and communicate the support team's weekly, monthly and annual performance metrics to team and management
• Provide recommendations to management for programs to enhance customer satisfaction
• Manage client expectations and attend weekly customer issues/SLA review meetings as needed
• Must be able to manage clients and their expectations in a calm and professional way in a high pressure situation
• Working within (and managing) the support team, must provide application support to customers via telephone and email, conduct new customer training, understand customers' needs to provide appropriate solutions
• Proficiency with Windows-based software, Internet applications
• Ability to explain application functionality, assist customers to increase their own knowledge of our client's robust and comprehensive application
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve navigation, software usage, and/or system and connectivity issues, escalating when necessary to ensure timely resolution
• Assist new customers with software implementation process, coordinating with internal business, implementation and technical teams
• Determine software defect prioritization across the customer base
• Possess effective customer presentation skills
• Follow up with dissatisfied customers to ensure their issues are satisfactorily addressed


Also Required:

• 7+ years of Oracle (10g and 11g)
• 7+ years of SQL
• 7+ years of Java (desired)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience functioning in a lead or managerial capacity
