Primary Skills:Linux Administrator,strong knowledge of security and firewall in Linux environment,Virtual Cloud environment with Red Hat Linux 5.4

Location:Reston,VA

Rate: DOE, # of Positions: 1, Duration: 6 Months

 

Description:

Should be able to understand Linux OS requirement from Oracle software perspective, or any other product supported on Linux platform.

The environment is public/private cloud environment, should be able to understand OS patches w..r.t product being installed,manage

Linux kernel parameters, user management, access issue, manage any Linux related environment issues.

= General Linux administration responsibility

will be part of job – User management, Tuning = Hands on, strong knowledge of security and firewall in Linux environment, such as setting up SSH connectivity, tunnels for PCs/Software within LightSquared. Hardware environment: Virtual Cloud environment with Red Hat Linux 5.4 List of Application being run on the server such as J2EE, Oracle, Apache, weblogic, etc… Oracle ERP – 12.1.3, Oracle Apache, Oracle database 11
