Amzur Technologies, a Tampa, FL-based custom software development and IT staffing company, seeks a seasoned .Net Developer for a 3-month project based in PA. This position is responsible for analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team.
Complete Description:
This position is responsible for reverse-architecting an existing VB6 application which is called by two major applications to, in turn, call multiple GIS services which are hosted by the Office of Administration's Geospatial Technology Office. The end result from these calls is returned to the applications for further processing. Following reverse-architecture of this "wrapper" application, the individual will be responsible for connecting with developer representatives from these major projects' development teams to verify what the desired use of the "wrapper" application is, confirm that it was functioning as intended, and then redevelop the "wrapper" application in a modernized format, using .NET technology.
