Amzur Technologies, a Tampa, FL-based custom software development and IT staffing firm seeks seasoned Automation Engineer for a long-term contract based in Tampa, FL.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years minimum experience in reading and writing programming languages (.Net, and C#, and SQL) ability required. (Microsoft Coded UI, WPF, and/or MS-Sync experience highly desired).

Complete Description:
Analyzes designs and develops software tools for the purpose of automated testing. Communicates and defends tool and automation design requirements, feature set, functionality, usability, and limitations of tool/test design to the team. Identifies and defines project team quality and risk metrics. Provides leadership and guidance to Test Lead, client management team, and serves as a liaison between the test, development and project management teams where appropriate to define more efficient ways to validate unit, integration, system, and performance tests. The job responsibilities will include application & system performance, threading issues, bottleneck identification, writing triggers, writing and using small footprint and less intrusive code for critical code testing, and tackle system/application intermitted failures.
Native C# will be used to create unit & integration tests to build a suite of automated build verification (BVTs) tests for smoke testing of continuous integration builds (daily). Performance measurements will also be wrapped within the functional tests.
Development and strong technical skills are critical and take priority over extensive testing experience. Prior tools development experience preferred.
This contract is slated to run a minimum of 12 months.
