Location: Herndon, VA

Duration: 6+ months

Description

 

Job Summary

As the Sr. SharePoint Developer, you will provide technical and consultative leadership for opportunities on a range of complex consulting engagements. These projects may include analyzing requirements, implementation, customization, integration and documentation for the customer.  You will work closely with sales, project managers, other personnel, and the customer

to ensure a smooth implementation and transition from start-up to integration/production mode.  Your key responsibility will be the successful development and execution of all consulting engagements including evaluating customers'' strategic business issues, identify requirements, create business case justifications, and propose appropriate enterprise solutions.

You are capable of working with minimal supervision.  You have knowledgeable of industry best practices in the implementation of complex technical solutions.  You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.

 

Required

5+ years of development experience in large enterprise or high-volume

5+ transactional environment

Experience as Front-End Software Engineer in a Web Applications /

Application Programmer capacity Extensive experience with SharePoint

including many of the following:

o        SPS 2010

o        SPS 2007

o        SPS 2003

o        Windows SharePoint Services

o        SharePoint Web Part Development

 

Experience utilizing XML/XSL/XSD, web services JavaScript HTML, CSS Agile

Extensive experience working directly with customers Ability to travel to work directly with clients

 

Highly Desired:

Experience migrating from SPS 2007 to SPS 2010 Desired Experience with EMC technologies such as Documentum, FileNet, or LiveLink Experience with BizTalk or Commerce Server MCSD or MCSD for .NET Experience leading and mentoring individuals and teams

Role: Sharepoint Consultant

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Competency: Application Development

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 3 Months

 

Role Description:

Client requires a resource familiar with development of Office (specifically Outlook) plug-ins.

They desire a customized meeting request form that will create appointments and possibly write data to SharePoint.

 

Skills Description/Technical Environment: 

·        .NET Development

·        SharePoint Development

·        Functional knowledge of Exchange
