JOB DETAILS:
Role: Data Center Migration Engineer (Electronic Asset Movement)
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Duration: 15 months
This resource is responsible for the actual planning and execution of transmission and synchronization of the application and data assets from the 'Send site' to the 'Receive site'.
There will be 6-18 migration projects executing concurrently; about 2,000 applications migrated per quarter.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Hands on knowledge of the Windows P2P, V2V migration process
• EMC Networker
• Hands on knowledge of Veritas Netbackup and other backup technologies
• Hands on knowledge of DoubleTake Availability
• Hands on knowledge of DoubleTake Share
• Hands on knowledge of Rsync
• Hands on knowledge of Virtualization technology
• Working knowledge with BMC tool suites
• Working knowledge of data replication processes
