Title : Websphere Portal Developer.

Location : Jacksonville, FL.
Duration : 9 month contract.
Bill Rate : $50/hr (c2c)


Websphere Portal Developer- Java, J2EE, JSP, Web Developer, DB2, JavaScript
Must have both strong J2EE development experience along with the Portal reporting and processes. 
Looking for a solid Portal Developer. Java knowledge is a must. This role will be responsible for creating Technical Design Documents, developing our portal application, unit testing, working with our Systems Analysts, and working with our testing organization
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 5 or more years of progressive work experience with in J2EE technologies Working knowledge on IBM Websphere application server 6.0 and 6.1 Working experience in Spring portal MVC and IBM websphere Portal 6.0 or 6.1 Ability to understand and write custom themes and skins for IBM websphere Portal 6.0 Good working knowledge on JSR 168 and JSR 286 specifications. Good working knowledge on java script frameworks like Jquery and Dojo or any other java script frame works Working knowledge on JSTL and Spring tag libraries. Working knowledge on JMS, JDBC and EJB Good understanding and working knowledge of transaction management ( two phase commit/single phase commit) in websphere Working knowledge of Rational Application Developer 7.0 or 7.5 Good understanding on Portal configuration and migration of pages from one environment to another environment. Commitment to work in a team environment and ability to adapt to new changes
