      Java web application development experience using IBM Rational Application          Developer and IBM WebSphere Application Server

·        Portal theme development, including Java Server Pages (JSP), HTML,      JavaScript/AJAX and CSS

·         Portlet development experience using JSR-168 and JSR-286 Frameworks: Struts, SPRING

·         Hibernate methodologies and implementation

·         JDBC, ANT, JUNIT

·         Understanding of J2EE architecture

·         Strong analytical skills

·         Experience writing technical documentation

·         Ability to work independently

Preferred Additional Skills

·         Rational Application Developer, Eclipse, JDeveloper or equivalent IDE

·         Database normalization and design

·         Portlet development (JSR-168, JSR-286)

·         Retail systems background

Specific Experience Requirements

Required (3+ years)

·         Web applications, web services, technical requirements documentation, unit tests, and defect tracking

·         Database platforms: DB2, SQL Server

·         Programming languages: Java,XML,XSL,SQL,HTML,JavaScript/AJAX(methods), CSS, JSP

Platforms: WebSphere

·         Must be able to work in a team environment

·         Must be able to work in a multi-location environment

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·         Must be able to coordinate multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and manage a heavy workload

·         Track record of providing superior customer service

Responsibilities

·         Production Support in a Websphere 6.1.5 portal environment

·         Support of Web Content Manager (IBM content product)

·         Miscellaneous .asp applications, Repliweb content manager product (outside portal)
