Amzur Technologies, a Tampa, FL-based custom software development and IT staffing firm seeks seasoned Java (with Flex) Developers (or C++ with Flex) for contract positions based in New York City.  Our client is a global financial leader and prefers candidates with financial industry experience (Morgan Stanley, Merrill, Barclays, Credit Suisse, Citi, Societe Generale, etc.).  There are multiple positions available.

 

Requirement details :

 

·         Ideal candidate (8+ years overall IT experience) should have a strong foundation in object oriented programming, algorithm and data structures.

·         Experience in state of the art Flex development is a requirement.

·         Candidates with proven track record of innovation in GUI, performance optimization and new design ideas will be perfect for the role.

·         This position will be involved in all aspects of software development: requirements, business analysis, design, architecture, development, testing and support.

·         Prior experience in Java is highly desirable. 

·         Database/Functional Programming is a plus.

·         Experience in financial industry is highly desirable.   

 

Skills Required:   Flex, OOP, Java   

Skills Desired:  SQL, Spring, Functional Programming

 

·         5+ Years hands on experience of Java or C#, Or 3+ years of Java and Flex

·         5+ Years RDBMS/SQL experience

·         Excellent analytical ability

·         Strong collaboration and communication skills
