Job Description:
Under broad supervision maintains the Middleware software and
application they are assigned to.
This includes the performance and software currency.
This position is expected to have a broad knowledge of WEBSPHERE,
Introscope, relational database concepts and experience with some
experience with relational databases.
Required Skills & Experience:-
"Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other
related field or an equivalent combination of education and job-
related work experience equal to 8-10 years.
"4+ years building and troubleshooting system/application/
infrastructure experience
"Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SSH and other
technical software)
"Desire to learn the business of IT (overall view of IT) , and Project
Management Clear, concise and accurate written technical white
paper(s) such as Technical Guidelines, operational procedures,
manuals, and configuration documentation.
"Respond to change in a positive manner and willingness to shift your
work or schedule in response to the demands of the situation.
Behavior Characteristics:-
"Excellent verbal and written communication skills, flexible and
collaborative,
"Ability to pick up new information quickly
Highly Desired Skills:-
"WebSphere experience required.
"WebFOCUS experience is a significant plus.
"Compute Grid experience is a plus.
