Title: Lead Oracle DBA

Location: King of Prussia, PA

Duration: 3 months +

 

There will either be a skype interview or a face to face interview

 

Technical: Oracle 8, 9, 10, 11, RAC, RMAN, PLSQL.  SQL Server 2005, 2010.  HP-UX 11.23, 11.31. Linux Redhat 5, 6. Windows 2003,2008

 

·         Responsible for supporting mission critical applications that use Oracle technologies.

·         Responsible to create, maintain and monitor database instances in a distributed environment utilizing multiple versions of Oracle Server and SQL Server.  Perform database health checks.  Table and index management.

·         Provide support through daily operations of Oracle and SQL Server Databases.

·         Provide technical assistance in the areas of Database installation, configuration, capacity planning, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and problem resolution.

·         Develop and implement quality documentation in support of our cGMP environment. Documents include IQ (installation qualification) and OQ ( operational qualifications ).

·         Facilitation of Data movement :  support data migration, database copying, refreshing  development and QA environments upon request.

·         Perform day-to-day troubleshooting of issues related to Oracle client/server technologies.

·         Install and upgrade Oracle Server, SQL*Net, Oracle Enterprise Manager/Grid Control and other related application tools.

·         Support the implementation of Information Services approved projects.

·         Support application upgrades and enhancements.

Provide secondary emergency support (nights, weekends) on a scheduled rotation
