Title: VB .NET Developer

Location: Omaha, NE

Rate: $40/hr

Duration: 4+ months

 

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

• Senior level experience

• Solid knowledge of HTML

• Solid understanding of web pages with multiple dependant controls

• Solid knowledge of JavaScript and JQuery

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (creating tables, stored procedures, etc) (5+ yrs)

• Solid knowledge of ASP.NET, ADO.NET, VB.NET, and .NET Framework version 2.0 and 3.5 (5+ yrs)

• Solid analytical, design, documenting, and presentation skills

• Understand strongly typed datasets and how to use them

• Solid understanding of web services and how to create and consume them

• Solid understanding of User Controls

• Solid understanding of Custom Controls

• Ability to create/enhance Crystal Report definition is a plus

• Used version control and understand branching

• Solid understanding of three tier software architecture

• Solid understanding of test driven development

• Solid understanding of object oriented development
