Job Title: Versata DCM (Distribution Channel Management) Consultant Primary Skills: Versata DCM (Distribution Channel Management) solution Location: Kansas City, Kansas Rate: DOE, # of Positions: 1, Duration: 1 to 1.5 years Description: Work Experience : 5 - 8 years. Technical Skills : Hands on in Java, J2EE technologies. Product Experience : At least 2 years on Versata DCM (Distribution Channel Management) solution . This is Insurance and Brokerage industry specific distribution management and compensation product. Job Description : • The person needs to have good knowledge of Versata DCM configurations, reporting features, how it is integrated out other applications, Loader and extractors etc. • Ability to work with multiple stake holders - Client Business Teams, Product teams and Client technology teams for gathering business requirements. • Develop system requirements in conjunction with Versata product team and Client technology teams. • Review business & system requirements gathered by Versata product team for product configuration. • Understand all business terminology and provide inputs to Client team. • Validate architecture with respect to business functionality. • Validate High level design with respect to system requirements. • Coordinate with offshore teams and KT all the information gathered at onsite. • Ability to create schedules and project plans based on the system requirements. • Hands on experience in Java and should be able to easily understand the internals of how data goes into and comes out DCM product. • Low level design for DCM. • Code reviews. • Code development.
