Rate: $Open/hr
Position Requirements:
Five to seven years of data management experience.
Experience with converting logical data models to physical database designs, conducting user interviews for the purpose of requirements gathering and data modeling and database design required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Experience using a variety of CASE modeling tools and strong relational DBMS background highly preferred.
Retail industry experience and data warehousing experience a plus.
Data warehousing and previous consulting experience a plus.
Bilingual is preferred.
Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
Job Description :
The Master Data Modeler/ Data Analyst will be a highly motivated individual responsible for all aspects enterprise data architecture, meta-data architecture, the design and delivery of OLTP quality OLTP and BI data models both logical and physical.
This individual will have industry experience implementing a data model across multiple retail locations as well as building and maintaining a retail enterprise data model.
ARTS data modeling experience is a plus.
Primary Responsibilities:
Facilitates the proliferation and awareness of a solid data governance strategy throughout the organization while operating alongside the Project Management and Development Methodology requirements of today.
The individual in this role will work closely with information risk management and enterprise policy teams to set policy standards and to develop enterprise awareness of data as an asset.
