EDI Business Analyst Requirements:

 

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

   Ability to work with developers to translate requirements in to

   functional and technical design documents and follow established

   Waterfall / Agile SDLC processes for testing and implementation

   Ability to work with internal and external customers to elicit

   requirements and work with trading partners to conduct testing and

   roll-out activities.

   At least 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry processing ASC

   X12 (EDI) transactions in batch and Real-Time environments

   Understanding of healthcare claim processing (a big plus)

   Recent experience with 5010 and other ongoing projects in the healthcare

   industry (ICD-10, HITECH, etc.) is preferred

   Mapping and translation experience with EDI translation software

   Additionally, experience with open systems based EDI translators and EDI

   protocols experience will be great

   Hands-on experience in the design, development, implementation, and

   production activities associated with X12 transaction sets (270 / 271,

   276 / 277, 837, 834, and 835), and other EDI data standards is helpful

   Able to work in a team environment within a project management office

   structure
