 Job Description :

 

?             Six Years (6) of Total IT experience in Analysis, design, development and Implementation of Business Intelligence solutions using Data Warehouse/Data Mart Design, ETL, OLAP, Client/Server and Web applications on Windows and Unix platforms in various verticals such as Pharmaceutical (Merck Pharmaceuticals), Transportation(Ryder),Financial (Deutsche Bank),  Retail (Circuit City) and Telecom (AT&T,AOL Time Warner).

?             Five plus Years (5+) of Data warehousing & ETL experience using Informatica Power Center 8.6.1/8.1/7.1/6.2/5.1/4.7, Informatica Power Mart 6.2/5.1/4.7, (Repository Manager, Designer, Server Manager, Workflow Manager, and Workflow Monitor), Informatica PowerConnect, Informatica Power Analyzer, ETL, OLAP, and OLTP.

?             One Year (1) of Dimensional Data Modeling using Star & Snow Flake schema. Extensive Experience with Ralph Kimball and Bill Inmon Methodologies. Designed Data models using Erwin 4.1/4.0/3.5.

?             Two years (2) of Business Intelligence experience in generating various complex reports using Business Intelligence Tools Business Objects 6.5/6.0/5.0, Cognos Series 7.0/6.0 (Impromptu & PowerPlay).  

?             Experience working in Multi–Terabyte environments. Solid Experience in coding using SQL, SQL * plus, PL/SQL Stored procedures/functions, triggers and packages. Extensive Working experience applying Relational Database concepts, Entity Relation diagrams, Data Flow diagrams, Oracle Designer 2000 and Normalization concepts. Expertise in utilizing Oracle Utility tools viz., SQL*Loader, Import and Export. Expert in Unix Shell Scripting.

?             Experience working on Databases like Oracle 11/10g/9i/8i, SQL Server 2005/2008/7.0/6.5, IBM UDB DB2 8.x/7.0, Teradata V2R5/V2R4, MS Access.
