Web and UI Developer
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 12+ Months
Consultant must be local or will to relocate
Principal Duties:
• Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of the store and partner stores.
• Develops and maintains web pages using HTML, DHTML, JSP, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX
• Support and create graphic design guidelines and templates
• Convert requirements into template designs and implement the designs.
Job Specification:
• Bachelors Degree – or equivalent work experience
• Min. 3 to 5 years, front end development responsibilities
• Required hands-on technical knowledge of: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Photoshop
• Ideal hands-on technical knowledge of: Flash (ActionScript), AJAX
• Experience with cross-browser web development.
• Working knowledge of SQL. Oracle is preferred.
• Knowledge of XML, XSLT, PHP or another scripting language a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Ability to communicate technical details to business users
• Ability to communicate business use cases to technical teams
• Demonstrated professional demeanor and customer-focused orientation.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong proficiency in the English language (written and verbal)
