Candidate will be working in AIX, Linux environments working on configuration of storage servers and VMware virtualization.
Needs expertise in disaster recovery
Must have a consulting background...
Needs experience in updating clients and documenting process.
familiar with NetApp and NetApp vFilers and virtualization.
Specific Job Responsibilities include: -
Develop planning documentation for the configuration of a FAS 3270 supporting VMWare with vFilers
Develop planning documentation for the configuration of a FAS 3240 used as a NearStore
Work with VMWare team and NetApp team to finalize environment configuration
Coordination of activities with NetApp for the implementation of the configuration
Prepare testing scenarios for the new environment in coordination with the VMWare and NetApp teams
Documentation of the implemented environment
Support and document testing activities of the environment
Organization and standardization of all documentation provided by NetApp for the environment
Documentation of additional operational procedures not provided by NetApp
Operational support of the environment in coordination with a NetApp administrator-
