Hotlist-Hotlist Cognos Developer Full time Need GC , EAD and CITIZENS

Position          : Cognos Developer

 

Location         :  Jersey City, NJ

                       

Duration : 6+months  

 

Technical Skills Required:

·         Seeking a motivated and energetic problem solver to participate in the development of a new financial services software platform.

·  Specifically, the individual will participate in the development of a new client reporting website for the Transfer Agency business.

·  The individual must exhibit a passion for leading edge software development in a dynamic and demanding team environment.  

·  Experience using Cognos 8.4 or 10.1 BI Suite including Framework Manager, Report Studio, Event Studio, Analysis Studio, Query Studio and Metric Studio.  Experience with relational and multi-dimensional (OLAP) data modeling.

·   Proficiency in the use of SQL, including query optimization, specifically with Oracle.  Experience in creating advanced reports in Cognos including master detail reports, drill down reports, burst reports, etc.  

·  Experience with Cognos Connection, managing object permissions, schedules, general administration tasks.  HTML, CSS, JavaScript and XHTML experience with Cognos a plus.

·  Experience with Cognos BI Bus API's (SDK) a plus.  Knowledge of Hyperion a plus
