Teradata Admin/Developer
Location: - Bentonville, AR
6-12 Months
Job Description:-
Several years (6+) of experience and in-depth knowledge of Teradata database administrator skills sets. Version 12 & 13.10 experience preferred
Experience in implementing simple to complex schema changes and performance improvement enhancement tools (i.e. AIJ, PPI, etc.)
Solid understanding of using DBQL and other related information to perform impact analysis
Knowledge and understanding of copying system catalog / metadata, as well as application data from system to system
Practical knowledge of Teradata Tools & Utilities (ex. MLOAD, BTEQ, TPUMP, FASTLOAD, etc.) on the Mainframe and distributed systems (i.e. Windows/Unix), Viewpoint and TASM
Practical knowledge and understanding of SQL and Database Performance and Tuning. Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) a plus.
Demonstration of strong ownership and leadership capabilities, professionally and technically
Ability to develop documentation of process and procedures for implementation plans
Ability to develop shell scripting in, C,ASP, .net, COBOL, and JCL
Plus: Certified Teradata Master with practical knowledge
