Position:  Business Analyst

Location: TN

Duration: 12 months

Job Description/Skills Required:

Essential Job Functions

May perform one or more of the following:

• Analyze business processes and perform needs assessment in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives
• Interpret business needs and translates them into system requirements
• Write business specifications and forwards to technical staff for system development
• Interpret systems specifications to develop, maintain and support automated business processes
• Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
• Configure system settings and options, plans and executes acceptance testing, and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements
• All other duties as assigned

 

Skills

• Demonstrate ability to develop professional expertise, apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. 
• Demonstrate ability to work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. 
• Demonstrate ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. 
• Demonstrate ability to build productive internal/external working relationships.
• Demonstrate ability to interpret business needs and translates them into system requirements.
• Demonstrate ability to write business specifications and forwards to technical staff for system development.
• Demonstrate ability to conduct demonstrations of system in small group settings or in a conference setting with large groups, up to 100 or more.
