Job Title: SAP MM with Logistics experience

 

Location           Pawtucket, RI.

Duration            Contract , CTH

 

Job Description

Experience required

• SAP Logistics configuration and specifications development experience.  Main configuration areas include 3rd party warehouse interfacing , Delivery and Shipment Processing, SAP Warehouse Management, and all Logistics related outputs. 

•Subset of functionality currently deployed that needs to be supported and enhanced for future global rollout of base design.

o 3rd Party warehouse interfaces (ability to work with test files and coordinate interface testing)

o Delivery Outputs (VICS BOL, Packing List, Delivery Notes, Picking List, Proformas)

o Label Output (Pallet/Carton handling unit packing information and standards)

o Customs Documentation and Global applications/requirements (Europe, South America, Canada, Asia)

o EDI ASN related output files and integration

o Carrier Freight Management interfaces and applications (CASS for example)

o WM Radio Frequency devices and SAP integration

 

Responsibilities:

• Analyze client requests and design solutions based on stated requirements.

• Lead configuration and testing efforts as assigned

• Write programming specifications and work directly with ABAP resources to fulfill programming requirements

• Ability to develop and evaluate alternative technical solutions to best meet the needs of the business requirements

• Update procedures, operation instructions, and any other documentation impacted by programming changes.
