Location: NYC, NY

Duration: 6-12 Months

 

Technical Skills:

SQL Server, T-SQL experience

Crystal or similar report experience

VBA

Ability to write / understand ETL processes

 

Responsibilities:

The candidate will work as part of a team within the firm's IT Application Development department dedicated to administering the Lawson Financial Applications platform for the Private Equity business division.

Will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of assets, accounts, specific Lawson modules, and reports

Assist accounting staff in the support of monthly close processes, and daily journal entries, and ongoing reporting needs

Design reports according to business requirements using various reporting tools, including SQL Server Reporting Services, Excel, and Crystal

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical design solutions.

Create and maintain process documents.

Design and deliver Lawson training sessions to accounting staff

Troubleshoot all Lawson issues

Assist in the development of data management policies and procedures

Provide technical assistance in all areas of data management

Interact with industry vendors to maintain state-of-the-art knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices for the Lawson platform.

Learn the Investran platform in order to share the support of the Investran application and its user community.
