Responsible for all aspects of database support. Serves as a liaison between applications development, data administration, and systems staff.  Expertise in one or more areas of database technology, as well as the proven ability to build and manage to a project plan.  Provides project-specific leadership and demonstrates specific technical expertise.

 

Sr. DBA with 10+ years exp -  Sybase, SQL Server, AutoSys, TWS, DBArtisan, TOAD. 

 

•         Very strong business and technical judgment

•         Very strong verbal and written communication skills

•         Proficient comprehension of underlying operating system and scripting utilities

•         Very strong ability to plan, estimate resources, and lead small teams on project-specific implementations with a results oriented focus

•         Knowledgeable in both technical and business trends in addition to new developments and directions in database technologies

•         Very strong organizational and time management skills
