Position: Senior Oracle Developer
Location: Olympia, WA
Duration: 18 months
Rate: $ open c2c

Job Description:

Knowledgeable in the use of Team Foundation Server.
Prior experience as a developer on complex systems.
Experience working within and supporting a formal project
management methodology.
Demonstrated ability in accurately estimating work.
Development of efficient code and efficient application design
resulting in high performing systems.
Experienced at trouble shooting and repairing code deficiencies
and system performance issues.
Hands on experience in Oracle Forms.
Hands on experience in Oracle Reports.
Experienced in Oracle PL SQL for working with an Oracle
database.
Highly proficient in best application development practices that
result in easily maintained and understood, consistent /
standardized approaches for development deliverables, and high
performing applications.
Highly proficient in technical design.
Highly proficient in documentation of technical specifications.
Extensive experience with successful unit and performance
testing.
Ability to work well with a team or multiple teams.

Required experience:
* 4+ years programming using Oracle Reports tool
* 4+ years programming using Oracle Forms
* 4+ years programming using an Oracle database and PLSQL
* 4+ years designing and developing database structures such
as materialized views, etc, that
support reporting needs
* 4+ years utilizing development best practices at par with the
industry and the existing standards
and guidelines.
* 4+ years performance tuning and development of efficient
code
* 4+ years writing quality technical specification documentation

and participation in technical
walk-throughs and peer reviews.
* 4+ years Working on projects utilizing formal project
management methodology, processes and
controls.
* 4+ years experience working within and supporting a formal
project management methodology.
* Ability to understand, debug, and troubleshoot existing code on
Oracle Forms, Reports and
PL/SQL.

Preferred experience:
* TFS Team development using Visual Studio team system
* Development in .NET web and windows applications
* Programming using a Microsoft SQL Server database
* Programming using MS Reporting Services
