Sharepoint Information Architect

 

Strong Microsoft .NET with SharePoint 2007 and/or SharePoint 2010 back-end development experience.

 

Hence,

* Experience designing and hands on development of SharePoint 2007/2010 workflow and/or portal applications.

* Deep understanding of SharePoint 2007/2010 principles, architecture, and strengths, along with a strong .NET foundation and deep understanding of .NET framework elements needed for workflow and portal development.

*  Experience on Migration from WSS to MOSS 2007 / SP2010.

* Understanding of Full farm topology with multiple domain on different environments like development, QA, and Production.

*  Microsoft Certification MCTS / MCSD are helpful.

*  Experience on SharePoint 2010.

Technical Requirements

·         4-5 Years of SharePoint Experience with proven ability to design and implement SharePoint applications with the following modules:

o   WSS

o   MOSS

§  BDC (Required)

§  Work Flow, ES, EDC (+)

·         At least 5 years of experience with proven ability in developing applications with ASP.NET, C#.NET, Visual studio 2003/2005 and .Net Framework 1.0/2.0/3.5, MS SharePoint Designer and Visual Source Safe.

·         Proven experience with HTML,XSL, XML, XSD, VB Script, Java Script.

·         Experience on creating Custom Workflow using Visual Studio, Sharepoint Designer and Nintex workflow.

·         Experience with Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Data Catalog, Shared Services Provider

·         Experience with Creating/assembling custom Web Parts, specifically for Enterprise Search functionality and web part UI elements customizations.

·         Knowledge on multi language sites.

·         Experience With Share Point Templates (Application Templates, Master Pages, Custom Handlers)

·         Experience on Migration using Out Of box features and third party tools like, Ave point / meta logix.

·         Experience on Restructuring sites / site collection using use cases.

·         Hands on experience of Sharepoint 2010 including BCS, office web app, webparts, look and feel.

·         Knowledge of Sharepoint on Cloud ( Cloud computing)

·         Experience with SQL Server 2005  and  2008

Interpersonal/Personal Requirements

·         Demonstrated ability to interact with users and use rapid application development methodologies and techniques to deploy applications quickly and accurately.

·         Proficiency in resolving issues

·         Ability to multi-task projects with multiple teams.

·         Excellent oral and analytical skills

·         Excellent inter-personal and communication skills

·         Ability to work with demanding time schedules

·         Experience on User / Admin training.

·         Ability of creating documentation on user guide, help topics and FAQs

·         Experience to work with higher level managers.

·         Experience to work in large organization with multiple country environments.
