Client in the Boston area looking for a SQL Database Engineer for a 6+ month contract. Must have strong SQL (2005/2008) skills transact SQL, stored procedure creation, and triggers.

Role: SQL Database Engineer

Location: Northwest of Boston, MA (will need to have access to a car - not accessible by public transportation)

Interview process: 1 Phone Screen followed by an in-person interview (local candidates will be preferred)

Duration: 6+ months

Description

Our client is looking for a SQL Server 2005/2008 Database Engineer that has Strong  SQL skills, transact SQL, stored procedure creation, triggers and SSIS.   

 

Required Skills Include:

Work with existing and designing large-scale data models.

Expert regarding relational database architecture and design.

Expert with SQL 2005 and the design and implementation of stored procedures.

Knowledge of mainstream RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle) and the architectural implications associated with each platform.

ETL Experience.

Possess a solid understanding of distributed application and web application development relating to database technologies within a high-end environment.

Experience working with development languages and some programming or scripting including: .NET, ASP, VB, VBScript, COM, COM+, XML, PERL.
