We have an urgent requirement for Java Developer

·         Title:                   Java Developer

·         Location:            Yorktown Heights, NY

·         Duration :          12+ Months

·         Rate :                 Open (All Inclusive)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1.         Software Engineer. IBM Corporation. Yorktown Heights, NY. Work closely with Researchers/Software Engineers in BI analysis research projects. 

2.         Handle large amounts of data. 

3.         Develop and maintain new and existing J2EE, JSF based application with Spring framework.

4.         Requires knowledge of Java, SQL, and Database Design (especially DB2). 

5.         Knowledge of DB2 database administration (Data loading, backup and recovery) and performance tuning is a plus.

6.         Knowledge of WebSphere, IBM software development platforms like Rational Application Developer is a plus.

7.         Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and two (2) years of experience as a Software Engineer. 

8.         Master's degree is a plus.
