Job Description :
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. May require an associate's degree in a related area and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with relational database concepts, and web application concepts. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project leader or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
3-5 years in insurance industry preferred.
Excellent communication skills, well spoken, clear, excellent writing skills.
Experience with Project/Project Server & Visio.
Self Starter
Strong Experience with BABOK/PMBOK/Waterfall methodology
Gather detailed requirements for a modification and interface to an existing system. Create necessary business case an obtain approval for new project.
Additional Skills:
2. Experienced in BPMN notation to document business flows.
3. Strong communicator a must as international communication is required.
4. Experienced in use cases and interviews.
5. Experience building actor hierarchies, use case catalogs, and security models. Relating logical models to use cases is a plus.
6. Experience analyzing and solving business problems through the development and implementation of business applications.
7. Knowledge and experience in systems development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies
8. Strong knowledge of standard business analysis techniques required.
9. Strong oral and written communication skills required.
10. Able to adapt to a highly matrix-management work environment.
11. Familiarity with SOA is a plus.
12. Insurance knowledge or experience is a plus.
