Title: Sr. Weblogic Engineer
Location: St. Louis, MO
Duration: 1+ Year / Ongoing
Need excellent English communication skills for sustomer support by phone. Client would like to see candidates with some recent experience supporting Oracle SOA Suite, but don't have to be a guru with this. Will be 30% travel to Dallas and Atlanta and all travel covered by the client. There will be a phone interview followed by a Skype interview.
Required skills:
· The candidate for this position must be at an expert level and possess six (6) or more years of experience with the installation, configuration, and operational support of Weblogic 11g Application Server
· Expert in Apache installation, configuration, and administration
· Basic understanding of at least 2 of the following application servers, WebSphere, WebLogic, Jboss, Tomcat, Resin Application Server
· The ability to make influential recommendations and decisions on web engineering activities within several environments across multiple clients while working closely with the customer and internal technical teams
· Ability to create and modify Unix shell scripts to automate repeatable tasks
· Basic understanding of Oracle 9i–10g-11g RAC, switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers
· Application monitoring and tuning
· Basic RedHat Linux system administration
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education or Equivalent Experience:
· Preferred Four year college degree or equivalent experience
· 6 or more years experience administering WebLogic Application Server
