Software Engineer-II (Web Application)
Location: Dayton,OH
Duration: 3-6 Months+
Rate: DOE

Develop and design web applications and web sites.
Responsible for directing web site content creation, enhancement and maintenance.


Education/Experience:-
o Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent training required
o 5-7 years related experience required
o Experience working in Agile development environments preferred


Responsibility level:-
o Exercises independent judgment with direction from supervisor


Skills:-
o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)
o Ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)
o Ability and willingness to make changes based on new information (Required)
o Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required)
o Knowledge of computer software, such as Javascript, PHP, SQL, XML, JQuery, etc (Required)
o Knowledge of XML

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:-
o Design, build or maintain web sites, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools and digital media
o Write, design, or edit web page content
o Perform web site updates
o Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct problems
o Evaluate code to ensure it is valid, meets industry standards and is compatible with devices or operation systems
o Confer with management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria or choose solutions
o Develop or validate test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces.
