Position: Sr.Sharepoint developer with

MOSS and SharePoint 2010 Suite

Location: Bellevue,WA

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Responsibilities:

•         Programming and development on feature areas according to defined master project plan

•         Work with solutions architect and development leads to develop architectural and technical design documentation for planned feature areas

•         Assemble build and solutions deployment packages for use across all relevant environments, with appropriate documentation

•         Daily maintenance of development environment

•         Adopt and adhere to Microsoft development best practices and coding standards

•         Contribute to SQA processes: code compliance, unit testing, security guidelines, etc.

•         Present work to team, supervisors and clients, adapting style to both technical and non-technical audiences

Required Skills:

•         Experience with the following technologies:

•         MOSS and SharePoint 2010 Suite

•         SQL Server 2005/2008

•         Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010

•         Web Services (SOAP, REST, JSON)

•         ASP.NET 2.0 (C#)

•         AJAX, both client and server technologies (e.g. AJAX .Net Toolkit)

•         Windows Operating Systems

•         Web Server Software (IIS 6.0/7.0)

•         HTML/XML/XSL/CSS/JavaScript (including various client-side JavaScript libraries, e.g. JQuery)

•         Authentication schemas

•         Capable of performing SharePoint 2010 administration, design, and development duties in high-performance, enterprise environments, using best industry practices

•         Experience with automation of SharePoint configuration via command line and Powershell servlets

•         Ability to build SharePoint solutions, templates, layouts, workflows, and web parts to include, but not limited to, the following areas:

•         Managed Metadata Services

•         User Profile Service

•         Search Services

•         Custom-Developed Services & Web Parts

•         Ability to document SharePoint application business requirements and provide project  scope and effort estimations

•         Ability to collaborate and work within a development team within Agile/SCRUM methodology

•         Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues and bugs in collaboration with SQA team

•         Good organization skills – ability to work effectively and prioritize tasks in fast changing environment

Recommended Skills:

Experience and expertise in one or more of the following is a plus:

•         Experience with modern programming models like MVC, Unity, etc.

•         Experience with Microsoft Communications, Workflow, Identity and Presentation Foundations

•         Microsoft Silverlight

•         Microsoft Windows Live ID

•         Prior experience with other Enterprise Content Management solutions
