.Net Architect

Boston, MA

3 month contract

ASAP

 

Architect role description..

•          In depth understanding of building .NET applications from ground up.

•          1 or 2 years of Architect experience building complex applications

•          Ability to work with business to derive technical specifications

•          Ability to understand and do Prototypes with new technologies (such as azure, modeling tools etc)

•          Hard Skills:

o          Very good understanding of Generics, Object oriented concepts.

o          TFS lifecycle – big + TFS builds, UI automation, setup gated check ins.

o          Understand and develop sequence diagrams and architecture documents.

o          MVC, ASP.NET 4.0 (Silverlight +), SQL Server or Oracle.

o          Good understanding and working knowledge of design patterns.

o          WCF (good working knowledge), MSMQ (optional understanding should be Ok)

o          Good working knowledge of JQuery, JSON, Ajax.

o          Very good understanding of HTML, Java script, CSS

?           Troubleshoot and fix cross browser issues.

Good understanding of IIS 7, troubleshooting IIS related issues etc.
